The news finally caught up with us in “fly over country.”
We’ve had many days of what I would deem “tropical” weather. Sunshine, humidity, and a period of heavy rain. My rain gauge was lost to the first hard freeze last year. Usually, I put a new one out, this Spring, I missed the annual replacement. However, local sources report multiple emptying of their gauge w/5 inches each time. Even by country standards – “that’s a lot a rain.”
As a result – we have grass. Green, green, grass and acres to mow.
