The Thomson/Thompson Tartan shirt I owned has long since past. I have spent many hours researching the surname and y-dna for the line. At some point I hope to purchase another Thompson Tartan shirt. Or, who knows maybe I’ll get a pair of underwear and pretend it’s a kilt.
Which brings me to an interesting experience in New Jersey last year. Passing through the airport we saw a group of men wearing the full kit. I did not stop to chat, but, it was impressive to see grown men, in an airport dressed to the “nines,” complete with kilt.
